I've had the blinking red & green flashing lights on my Epson C44UX, which after reading threads on this site, I now know that the counter needs to be reset and the waste ink pads need removing. I have successfully managed to reset the counter, (and the printer is now printing) but now comes the messy problem (from what I've been reading). I'm not the very practical type so please bear with me. I know I have to change the waste ink pads, but after looking at the printer I have to hold my hands up and say I haven't a clue what to do next. I'm not even sure whether the printer needs to be plugged in to do it, I don't even know where abouts they are located. If someone could help me please (idiot guide required).........

use the 2 links below the first is the ssc utility and when you load this page scroll down nearly to the bottom and you WILL see that the printer is in the list.

you may need to type in configuration c4x instead of the full number
