Disassembling an HP Officejet 7310 all-in-one by jbotz (7/28/06 7:22 AM) reply + / -
Some ants were starting to build a nest in my HP Officejet 7310 all-in-one printer, and in the process have jammed up the carriage. I think they've moved out after I took off the back panel... too much light getting in. But the gunk they used to make it a comfy home is still there, so I have to open it up and clean it out. The electronics seem to be fine so far.

The main problem in opening it up further than taking off the back panel seems to be to get the whole top half off its hinges. I've carefully disconnected the various cables going to the upper part, but I can't figure out the hinges. If anyone can tell me how to do this I'd be much obliged.

Thanks,

:j
