 | HP CLJ 3700 color problem by dwalker254 (5/25/06 7:44 AM) reply | + / - | All pages come out with a blue cast. I have swapped out the blue cartridge with a known good one and done the same with the transfer unit. I have also tried a manual calibration and a cleaning. The transfer unit has horizontal bands of blue on it.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

 | Re: HP CLJ 3700 color problem by dwalker254 (5/25/06 9:51 AM) reply | + / - | Got it! There were blue bands on the image drum film about .5 in wide. The printouts had blue fairly evenly spread over the whole page.
I compared, checked and cleaned the contacts for the blue cartridge. Made sure the spring loaded tab was moving freely. All seemed fine. I then made sure the cartridge was firmly in place.
It worked!!! Something must have been out of kilter. This is a school setting and we have lots of little gremlins around here.
Thank you so much for your prompt response.
