 | Can't open Hp 2410 Hp director software by otis (11/10/05 7:33 AM) reply | +1 + / - | I am having a problem with the HP director, I can't open it.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled at least 10 times, I have downloaded and installed the latest drivers from the HP site.I also ordered the latest CD with the drivers and used them and still have the problem.
I have checked the installed location C:PROGRAM FILES\HP\DIGITAL IMAGING\bin\Hpqdirec
I have tried to open it from that location with no luck.
Note: I can get the scanner to work by going to the control panel , opening the printer and scanner folder and rigth clicking on the PSC 2400 Icon.
I can print normally using the print buttons on various applications and through the file drop down.
Note: My operating system is Xp with service Pack 2
Help!!!

| Re: Can't open Hp 2410 Hp director software by Bill Kunert (11/10/05 7:39 PM) reply | + / - | I had a similar problem with my 2110 (scaled down 2410) and the only way I was able to resolve it was to reformat and install the printer first after reloading XP. There were only 3 icons in director instead of the 5 that should have been there. Spent a couple of hours on the phone with HP support in New Delhi, India plus their online help. No help.

Was working o.k. before it disapeared and couldn't reload. Reinstalled Printer files from HP disk several times but couldn't get Hp Director Files back. My O/S is Xp Home Windows.
ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED!
