canon i70 blinks steady orange/.green, by connie williams (10/31/05 3:52 PM) reply + / -
my canon i70 has decided not to print. when i turn it on it will immediately feed 2 sheets of paper, then make a scratchy yucky noise, and then blink a constant orange /green /orange/ green, etc....but it won't print. can this be fixed? or do i need to take it in? .or should i just get a new one?

Hi Connie - hope you managed to resolve your printer problem - mine does exactly the same thing and i cannot find out why its doing it - I can make it do a test print and alignment but as soon as i try and do a clean it doesn't work at all. If you can help me i would be very greatful

Anyone got any ideas - I have EXACTLY the same problem.

Nothing on the Canon site for this error sequence.

Would be very grateful for any help, got the printer on ebay for my boss - having had to pay out extra for the ink (expected) & printhead (not bargained for) the thing's only worked for a week and I'm about to attack it with a screwdriver......which could end in tears.

Here's hoping.

Steve
