 | CLJ 8500 Fuser Errors, 50.1, 50.3, 50.4 by rbkessler (7/26/05 11:48 PM) reply | + / - | I picked up a used Color Laserjet 8500. When it starts up I get an alternating Fuser Error, first 50.1 restart it and get either a 50.3 or 50.4. I checked the fuser with an Ohm Meter and it comes up good. Is the problem the fuser or maybe the power supplies? Or something else? I have it plugged directly into the wall socket.

The manual really does not give good solid info, but for 2 of those errors after the fuser is tried, the power supply is next. You may also want to check the contacts on both the fuser and inside the printer which make contact with the fuser.
