 | Trying to unload Epson C42 cartridges by Chicago_gal (6/1/05 10:36 AM) reply | + / - | have tried everywhere, on auction sites, Amazon, local markets, no one is buying these cartridges. Is the C42/C44UX printer a seller or did it not sell well? My prices are 1/3 what the average retail is, so don't understand why no one is buying these cartridges.

 | Re: Trying to unload Epson C42 cartridges by Denny Conway (6/2/05 5:36 PM) reply | + / - | Just to let you know: In the printer industry, the inexpensive ink jet printer [any printer under $100.00], is considered to be a disposable printer. Its almost cheaper to buy another inexpensive ink jet printer, than it is to buy a new set of epson ink cartridges. I have no way of knowing if the ink cartridges you are trying to sell, are actually "Non-Epson Ink Cartridges" or not, but if so, that could be the reason. If your ink cartridges are actually non-epson ink cartridges, most people already know that the GENERIC or THIRD-PARTY ink cartridges are not the correct ink formulation and that non-epson ink cartridges will usually cause problems, or even damage to their epson printers. In some cases, the actual Electrical Chips that are on most of the non-epson ink cartridges, are so cheap that they are not always recognized by the printer...Denny Conway
