hp 930c expired cartridge.. how to bypass this? by Anonymous (5/15/05 9:13 PM) reply + / -
My printer was working just fine until one day the ink cartridge light decided to light up. I went to HP's support site and did what they said: cleaned the electrical contacts and whatnot. Still had the blinking lights.

Then I went online and found that cartridges stop working after a certain period of time. So, I looked at my cartridges expiration date and found out it expired about 3 months ago.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to bypass the expiration date. I heard that you can just take the battery out from other HP printers and it'll work, but then I don't know how to do this with my HP Deskjet 930c. Please help.

There isn't a battery in the 930. Are you sure the cartridge isn't empty?
