I am working on several HP D145 with bad printheads. I was able to revive 1 set by soaking them in a solution but the other unit still has issues. I was informed by a refill company that there is a rebuild kit for printheads but I can't find anything. Any information you could give me would be much appreciated.

just a thought. I had the same problem and just bought a new printhead through Office Depot and installed it and it fixed the problem. There is a thread on here called "the first guide in taking back your hp officejet!" that will tell you how do clean and fix the printheads too.
