Paper feed by Martin (3/21/04 6:34 PM) reply + / -
I have recently been experiencing a lot of paper feed problems in the HP laserjet 2100 printer, I replace the solenoids, paper fee rollers, main control board, sepapation arm pads ,and that does not seem to help my problems. I hear the solenoids activate so the unit can turn to feed in the paper, but no paper is feed in to the printer fron any trays.
The paper feed problems occur at random for any of the trays .for tray 2 u can see the paper feed roller turn sometimes, but the paper is not fed into the machine . Any one out there with any suggestions ?

When you have intermittent paper feed problems it is usually due to a bad sensor "flag", especialy since you have replaced just about everything else which can cause the problem. What is left is the sensor "flags" and registration assembly. I would not discount the "flag" make sure they move correclty and pop back without any sticking when moved.
