Laserjet 5 or 4si?

Laserjet 5 or 4si? by Ilan Stenesh (4/7/03 7:24 PM) reply + / -
Our company prints catalogs every month in batches of about 1000 - each one 6 sheets double sided. We have used Laserjet 4 and 5 models but get a good number of paper jams, especially when printing the second side (we have used a roller kit that helped a little). We need another printer, and are checking out LJ5 and 4si with duplexers on Ebay. Does the 4si have fewer problems with paper jams then the LJ5? Smooth performance with few paper jams or pickup problems is the main concern, especially if used with a duplexer or to print a second side. Thanks!
