HP Laserjet IIID network?

HP Laserjet IIID network? by Rikard (12/10/02 11:13 AM) reply + / -
Hi!

I've got my hands on a couple Laserjet III, two are IIID. On the back of one of the IIID's there are some network-jacks (i think) labeled ESI-2041C, does this means I can connect it to a hub/network or what? The odd thing is that there are four jacks...
Another question: The duplex unit on the back of the printer makes me go nuts! I don't know how to flip it so I can print on both sides of the paper. I have selected Duplex=On in the printer control panel without results. The only thing that happends is thar the paper either comes out on top or ABOVE the duplex unit. I don't know what to do to make it go IN the duplex unit...
And one final question: Is it possible to reapir the paper pick up roller without buying a reapir kit? Maybe put some latex on it or a rubber band?

Thanks for your time!
-Rikard
