HP 9050 getting 13.05.00 error

I have a HP 9050 that is getting a 13.05.00 Fuser Output, Paper Late error message. It has printed 573639 pages. I have installed a new maintance kit, and installed a new toner cartridge. It is still jamming. It is not jamming on every page, but often. I have also removed the duplexer and this did not make any difference. Any help/suggestions would be great.

Had a sticky exit switch arm on the output side of the fuser assembly doing the same thing.

this was with a remanufactured fuser.

Clean all paper path rolls on rh side of printer when you open the jam clearing door.I use WD-40.

You can eliminate upper exit ass'y by sending some test prints to side output tray.

Where is the paper actually jammed? Other causes fro that error are toner and transfer assy,sounds like you changed them already? The leading edge of the paper did not reach the fuser delivery sensor in time causing 13.05. Might be time to replace the registration assy or at least remove it and clean it up. Is the print on the page ok as far as where it should be centered so to speak?

The print is centered on the page. There is paper in the duplexer, one at the toner, and one started up the right side of the printer out of the tray. It does not seem to jam out of the manual tray, so I have ordered a PIU for this printer. I hope this fixes it.

sounds like that will take care of it.

The PIU did not resolve the issue. I got a call today and it is jamming again. I am going to to try the registration next.

I have been working on a HP LJ 9049 with a 13.05 issue.

In short the printer had constant jamming and thumping.

I replaced the Main Gear Assy, Registration Unit, Piu, Transfer Assy, Fuser and toner. I have done this 2 times each time with different parts.

The printer now has no noise issue. That was due to the Reg Assy and the Main Gear Assy.

It no longer jams constantly. BUT it jams with a 13.05 jam about every 400-700 pages. I have replaced all the parts that I mentioned initially in an effort to resolve these jams.

At this point I am stuck and would be happy to have any ideas that resolved this issue in the past.

You might try the low power supply. That would cause the fuser to function in time error and cause jams. I am putting one on tomorrow. Will let everyone know if it works.

@ FlaghornBluhat ;
- Did replacing the low voltage PS fix the issue?
