My 2 year old Brother mfc9440cn has toner scattered inside machine. The problem I first noticed was a quality problem in prints - thin grayish black bars along one side of the long-edge of paper. I pulled out the drum unit and found excess yellow and black toner coming out of their respective toner cartridges. These two colors have already been replaced (the cyan and magenta are still the original cartridges). Why is there excess toner? Do I need to replace some other consumable that I haven't been paying attention to (the page counter says less than 6,200 pages total have been printed)?
