HP 3005 cartridge sticking

I have one that the cartridge seems to be hanging up on the left side when removing it. I was also getting bad contact to cartidge from high voltage contact(causing background). I've bent it a little and streached the release spring to make things better. Nothing appears broken or even all that worn. Printer only has 60,000 on it. Just wondering if anyone has seen this.
