My HP LaserJet 5M suddenly started making 1/8" wide lines left to right on the 8 1/2" wide sheet. These lines are about 1 1/2" on center all down thur the page. Seems like it must be a fault in the cartridge as the spacing is about one revalution of the drum.
have another HP LaserJet 5M and it makes a "ghost" image down the page about every 3" .
Anyone know how to correct?

Does your company sell GOOD cartridges for this HP LaserJet 5M? if so how much? I have tried the re manf units with so so results. Both of these problem units are prox 2 years old and I bought the X series thinking they would last longer --- not so. We are a small office prox 20 sheets per day. My unit has 77000 page count.
