HP LJ 2420 TRAY 2 PICKUP ROLLER DRIVE SHAFT

I have a HP LJ 2420 with a broken tray 2 pickup drive shaft . Does any one know the hp part number for this part? .

Unfortunately the shaft is not available as a separate part. You have to order the computer tray 2 pickup assembly RM1-1481-000CN. What I do is then remove the shaft from the new assembly and put into the old unit already in the printer as replacing the complete assembly is a bear.

Thanks dmzcompute Just a quick note on the shafts for HP LJ 1340 printers. They are not listed in the HP parts listing but they are the same as the ones in HP LJ 1100 s Part No RC1-3471-000CN. j

To correct your information that part you refer to above is for the lj1320 and sister unit lj1160. lj1100 using a completely different pickup method.

Yep, your right there . They are not compatable with the LJ 1100 my mistake. J
