 | Lex c540: keep printing BW w/out new color cart? by stoid (11/16/09 8:55 AM) reply | + / - | I have a lexmark c540 that ran out of magenta but has a brand new black. All I'm printing is black, its all I was printing when the printer decided the magenta wasn't just low, it was gone.
Well, I ordered magenta online, I can't afford to buy it again, and I need to keep printing! But I can't find a way to override the "change magenta" message! Help!

Bad news, there is no way to get past this message without putting a toner in.
