Hi

I need help

I did a NVRAM Initialization and now I needed the file to a firmware update and i need too utility software to make a firmware update. My machine is HP LaserJet 2200D (USB, LPT1).

Firmware on this printer is not flashable. You have to replace the formatter to update the firmware.

There is a firmware upgrade DIMM, not well known (don't think HPs part surfer has it listed under the 2200 (at least not since they revamped it). You have to keep the DIMM installed all the time to maintain the newer version so if you get the DIMM hopefully you'll have an open memory DIMM spot for it.

Part # is C7067-67903 (I think it's version 20020402 from what I found)

Hi

I have another difficulty is to change in "Self teste list" Print Settings values PAPER SIZE Letter to A4.

How change that.

I think you go to control panel on the PC side, open properties of the 2200D printer (right click icon & left click properties)

2 spots I think need changed, on is on the Device Settings tab, click tray 2 (tray 1 is the manual feed tray) & change from letter (or whatever its set to) to what you need it, in this case A4.

2nd spot is back on the general tab click on printing preferences & click the advanced button (down on the right hand side) & change paper/output, paper size: from letter to A4.

I think that'll work & change it for you.
