After all these years my reliable HP IIIp started an accordion jam at the toner cartridge. This happened 3 pages after installing a brand new toner cartridge. Bummer! Once I determined the old cartridge now jammed too, I looked on-line for answers. One was to mark the drum and see if the mark moved. Surprisingly it did. So I removed the right side and found that indeed the drum moved, but just enough to move my mark, and not a complete rotation. Upon closer inspection, the clutch had a crack from the square notch going both directions.

Problem: Paper enters printer and scrunches up with the leading edge in front of the toner cartridge.
Solution: Replace the necessary parts, all of which are included in this repair kit (along with easy to follow directions).
Glad to report that replacement was a breeze and all works well.
