I have an HP 4700 that will print one page, then ask for glossy paper. It will not continue until the printee walks over to press select to use the paper that is in tray 2.
I have tried playing with the settings and both trays are set to letter and plain (and the tray guides are set for 8.5x11). I tried shutting off manual feed. I have also restored factory settings and so far nothing has solved the problem.
I thought that there might be one or two people in the office that have glossy selected in their printing preferences but the people I talked to claimed that it happens to everyone. It looks like most of the people in the office are using Macs, if that makes a difference.
Any suggestions anyone might have will be greatly appreciated.
