i had that problem..T he people at lexmark were good. I had to go to vista Clean. Unload all my old printer junk and drivers. The I went to www. lexmark. com . The installation instructions for the 1200 were simple to follow after that. PS.. i am a dunce on computers. if it was easy for me, you know the rest. Very Important. Vista clean!!!

I got in touch with lexmark. They told me to use Vista Clean and uninstall all drivers from before. i then went through, with thm, step by step and I got everything right. it really worked.

I have a Lexmark x1270 all in one printer which i had with window xp. I have had to renew my computer with window vista and now i can not get my printer to work. Can you help

at the www type in lexmark 1200 drivers and download the one for vist. also try driverzone.com

dude!!!! i have windows vista premium and when i bought my lexmark 1200 series....the dang cd didnt work either!! so when the installation wiz came on, my comp asked to look online for the downloadable program....well it installed easily enough....and it works for the most part.. and for those who this doesnt help....call up the manufacturer....or look at the lexmark website

Why wont my printer print with black and white ink? I have brand new cartride. I was printing pictures and it worked fine before I prited my pictures, and while printing my pictures. But now it doesn't even print at all with black ink?

Mine done the same thing and I had to have both cartigages in for it to print for me... I hope this helps

Go to maintain and trouble shooting. Click on advanced options (down toward the bottom of the list.) Click on printing status. Mkae sure the sound box is checked. I hope this helps!

have had just the same problem. it was the mains adaptor box which fits in the back of the printer. picked one up on e-bay check the fuses first though

I have a lexmark x1270 all-in-one printer, which continuously prints my pages on a very noticeable angle. I think the printer is grabbing the paper at this angle, causing it to be printed crookedly. How can I fix this?

Can anyone tell me how to set the scanner to ALWAYS use optical scan? Somethings that I scan come out with a weird colour design, I think its because of the pattern on the paper, but when I use optical scan on a high DPI it looks amazing.. someone help please Lexmark 1200 Series aswell, x1290

My computer was recently fixed and they apparently un installed the software for the printer and I no longer have the disdk-where can I go to download this application. Thank you

Hello I purchased a new ink cartridge and now I'm unable to print. When I click print, it sounds as if a document is printing yet nothing happens. I'm not sure where my software installation disc is. I'm in desperate need of my printer. I have weddig programs to print by this Friday. PLEASE HELP!!!
