 | LaserJet 8150n 50.1 fuser error by beetle717 (3/14/06 12:58 PM) reply | + / - | I have an HP Laserjet 8150n model printer that has the error 50.1 fuser error. I have replaced the fuser and the low voltage power supply and am hoping someone here can help me with what the next step needs to be. Thanks to all

Are you sure the lvps you put in is ok. If so only two other items could cause the issue. The cable which runs from the lvps to the fuser (to be honest I have never seen a bad one) and the actual voltage at the socket. You need at least 15 amps to run this printer and if the line is a shared line and the voltage should drop, you could get a 50.0 error. Just about every 50.1 error I have seen and I have seen over 100, have been the lvps.

Did you leave both of the new parts you replaced with in, or did you take one out and replace the other when it didn't work? And as dmz said, are you sure they're good parts?
