HP LaserJet 2200D - Stops After Each Page

HP LaserJet 2200D - Stops After Each Page by mjmoens (2/1/06 10:54 PM) reply + / -
We have an HP LaserJet 2200D with what seems like a wierd problem. For example, our secretary generates a 10 page report (Word doc). The printer will print one page ... then will wait for her to press the Start button. It will then print one more page and stop. Each time, she has to press the Start button until the report is finished printing.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
TIA
Marshall

hi there it sounds like she has sent the wrong size paper to the printer, check page settings on pc and get a self test from the printer, on that page it will say a4 or letter,
also she might be sending to tray one, to confirm this make the problem happen again ie; the red light comes on, then put some paper in the manuel feed,(tray1)...if it prints from that
tray with out pushing the button then its a paper selection issue....
