I need help to reset my OKI C3200 printer cartridge after refilling new toner. My printer still not understand that its refilled. How do I reset the printer or toner cartridge to use the new refilled cartridge's I have?

If the original, 'starter' cartridges are refilled, the printer will function for a short while and, then, stop with lights flashing to indicate a 'consumable' problem. Only replacement cartridges can be refilled with toner powder.

oki original toner oki genuine toner is a starter cartridge
when i buy the refill they told me thas not a started cartridge
do i need to buy aspecial cartridge for this
what is the name of the cartridge of high capacity and any one can recomend a place to buy it

Incidentally, as indicated above, it is not possible to reset the original, starter cartridges, the ones with a little aluminium disc on the handle, instead of a window. Here is my solution:-
Regarding the solution given for resetting the drum life using a small axial fuse, RS type 422 012, I obtained some 125mA fuses - 65mA were not available from my supplier - and fitted one as described. However, it did not blow on switching on and I got flashing lights indicating a 'serious error'. So, I blew the fuse by touching the contacts on the drum unit with a PP3 battery , but this did not reset the drum life.
Then, I thought I would simulate the conditions by connecting thin, insulated, single stand, wires (the cores of telephone cables are ideal) to the looped contacts in the cavity in the case which connect to the contacts on the end of the drum. I connected an analogue meter, set to 500mA range, to the ends of the leads and switched on the printer. After about 5 secs., the current rose to about 400mA and dropped back again, so I disconnected the meter. But this did not reset the drum life value - which was 1%. So, I repeated the exercise but, this time, disconnected the meter immediately the current rose. Eureka!. Now the drum life registers 99%. So, it appears to be essential to do a quick disconnection to simulate the fuse blowing.
Incidentally, the utility which gives drum life and other information about the C3200 printer is OKI-StatMon.exe which can be downloaded from the OKI web site.

do i need to dessacemble the cartridge, the printer or what where is the famous fuse. ???
the last one that i refill was the color K is this the one that gives the error 543:k toner sensor error...

I tried to describe the process as clearly as possible. (I do not have a suitable camera, anyhow.)
To replace the fuse when refilling a cartridge, yes, a small amount of dismantling is involved. This is described in the original comments about how to refill and you will find it if you follow link to www.fixyourownprinter.com/forums/laser/38693?reply=9

| Re: OKI C3200 reset toner refill by tkightley (11/3/09 12:41 PM) reply | + / - | It does suggest lack of toner. Check it is not getting stuck in the cartridge. Take each cartridge out in turn, having closed it first, and see if the toner in the printer is level with the surface of the support on which the cartridge rests and there are not depressions in it. If not, rock the cartridge a bit before replacing it. If this does not do it, give each cartridge a thump to shake up the toner. Good luck!

It could be that the drum life is expired - according to the printer. To find out, download a copy of OKI-StatMon.exe and run it. That will show the status of the printer and, therefore, what is left of the life of the drum, as well as other factors about the printer.

If anyone else has any ideas I would appreciate it
