 | Hp Color LaserJet 3500/3700 color fade by Bob K (12/8/05 10:09 PM) reply | + / - | We have several Hp CLJ 3700's and one 3500, that yellow and cyan are faded out on the left hand side of the copy. Black and Magenta both print fine. I've tried changing the image transfer assembly with no effect on the defect. Also tried swapping secondary transfer rolls. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help Bob K in Baghdad

The contamination is inside the laser/scanner.

HP has a service note on for this, you may qualify for a free replacement based on the machine serial number.
