GCC-BLP IIs printing black horizontal stripes

GCC-BLP IIs printing black horizontal stripes by Abraham (1/20/02 9:25 PM) reply + / -
My GCC-BLP IIs prints black/gray stripes horizontally in this way:
1st strip: Black, 2 inches below of top of page.
2nd strip: Gray, 2.25 inches below the ist srtip.
3rd strip: light gray (sometimes can not be appreciated), 2.75 in below the 2nd strip.
Between the strips the printout is normal.
Sometimes the printer prints a good page without stripes.
I'm suspecting that this problem could be due to the toner cartridge, but before I buy one I'd like to know if this problem could be due to something else... how should I proceed?
Thanks in advance....
Abraham Diaz de Leon

That is probably a bad drum wiper blade. We have a kit for that under the Okidata kit section. Only problem is the webmaster left it off when he uploaded the new site yesterday. Drop him a note on our contacts page and remind him of it.
