You can find it on rear side of the cartridge under a plastic cover nearby electric connector, fixed with two screws. Remove this cover, disconnect litle plate (on the plate there is only one part that looks like a resistor - its a fuse). Make short circuit on the fuse or put a wire i connector. Put the transfer belt in the printer, swich on, wait until IDLE apperas. You have to remove a wire from the fuse, and can use your transfer belt like it is NEW. Good luck!

Just followed your instructions and the green resistor look alike I shorted with two staples which I straightened out and taped to the little circuit board. Machine all happy again and €400 saved. Thanks

Getting the same error message. My printer ran for a long time with this message and then finally stopped. The transfer belt is fairly new. I've shortcircuited the transfer belt, the fuser and the oil roller. None of that is working. Is there an order to this process? Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have rebuilt toner cartridges as a business and the 2200 stumps me when it comes to things like the Transfer Belt. My machine has a lot of copies but not over 100,000. My next question is how do we clean the Transfer Belt so it works like new. Many thanks in advance please email me at txjoel1@gmail.com JInTx
