 | Re: Brother HL1040 by Mike (4/12/04 2:02 PM) reply | + / - | This may sound too simple, but, take out your toner cartridge wrap a cloth around it, and shake the Hell out od it. Really get that toner loose and flowing freely. Then reinstall it and try again. If it does not work, buy new toner or drum. Just so you know, I've been doing this for over 23 years.
