HP Laserjet IIIP Vertical Lines like margins

HP Laserjet IIIP Vertical Lines like margins by brian slater (3/18/04 11:27 AM) reply + / -
Bought IIIP in 1993 but stored last 3 years while in USA (220/240v model).
Now back in Europe & just fitted new HP print cartridge 75A (92275A).
Get good quality output except for 3 neat but annoying vertical black lines at 5, 30 & 195mm from the left hand side.
Put back the old cartridge & find I have the same lines. Looked at previous forum <streaking John Wort>
Followed Denny's advice to stop the self test part way through before it entered the fuser unit.
Even though only about 20mm of the test page was printed, the black lines were still there.
I have cleaned, vacuumed, used the self-test cleaning paper all to no avail.
Would appreciate any advice you may have.
John, was your problem resolved by the new cartridge?

Did post this in the <...streaking> set a few days ago but got not response so trying again with a new note.
Appreciate any help.
