Help,
My HP III was working just fine until the output was light on one side. I assumed that I was out of toner, but I wasn't. I shook the toner cartridge to even the toner out and tried to print again. What occured then was the output had streaks of excess toner all over the pages. I tried to clean out what appeared to be excess toner in the paper path but it did no good. The printer then started to jam after 1 or 2 pages. The paper gets about 1/3 to 1/2 printed then stops. The paper feed roller by the paper tray is still holding tight to the paper, but the sheet is starting to feed crooked. It cants to the right. I can pull the jammed sheet out only when I lift the green handle up.
I guess I screwed this printer up royally. Now I need to know what I need to do to fix it.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Paul Dondero
