HP LJ4L smudges

HP LJ4L smudges by Don (10/3/03 1:10 PM) reply + / -
I used a glue stick to put a sticker onto a piece of paper and then ran it thru my HP LaserJet 4L. It looks like some of the glue seeped out around the edges of the sticker, and now every piece of paper I feed thru the printer has smudges in regular intervals.
Any ideas on what I can do to get rid of them?
Thanks,
Don

Sounds like it got on your cartridge or fuser.
I would try wiping off the cartridge with a lightly dampened cloth or just replace it.
If it still exsists, the fuser has been contaminated and the machine will have to be taken apart to clean it.
