Jacob: As an "Epson Authorized Service Dealer", there's only so much information and help that I can legally give. I'm assuming that the Laser Printer you are referring to, is the Epson AcuLaser C2000. Unfortunatly it is a model built for Latin America and the User's Manual is in Spanish, so I can't read it and I can't even share it with you, as it comes from Epson on-line, to authorized dealors only. Hopefully you still have your User's Manual, because it may be able to help you further. If not I can only hope that someone who has the same printer, or a Service Manual for your printer, may reply and be able to help you. Most of the Epson Action Laser Printers are so old and expensive to work on, that no one wants them repaired and serviced anymore. Also the "Photoconductor Assembly" and "Fusing Unit Assembly" are the main items/parts that need to be replaced. Both units/parts are so expensive, that its cheeper to buy a new small laser printer instead...The only advice I can give you is to clean the metal Electrical Connectors where that assembly connects to, as it is inserted. Dirty contacts can cause problems. Generally, when you install a new photoconductor assembly, the "photoconductor counter" is reset automatically and the panel display "PHOTOCONDUCTOR" in setup menu becomes 100%. I'm sorry that I can't be of any real help to you...Good Luck! Denny Conway

Phil: I'm sorry, I have not even heard of an "Epson LP-3000C Printer". I'm guessing it must be a Laser Printer, possibly sold & distributed overseas, by Epson Company. That could explain why I have no listing for it here in ny USA Epson records. At any rate, if you don't get any replies from anyone, it might be because you attached your particular printer model, to an Epson C2000 message board, thats over 20 months old. If you were to open a new & separate message board, listing your printer make, model and a short description of its problem, in the actual SUBJECT LINE, you might have a better chance on getting a reply. Especially from someone that is framiliar with your particular model and possibly its problem. A lot of technicians and people that help out on this Printer Repair Site, read the actual SUBJECT LINE, rather than reading each individual message. They are looking for makes & models of printers that they are actually trained on, or framiliar with. EXAMPLE: I help out on the Epson Printer problems and questions, when I can. If you were to post a completely new message, with a subject like "RE: Epson LP-3000C, 'Install Oil Roller' Message", then there's a greater chance that someone that works on an Epson LP-3000C, may see and read your posted message. Then the chances are better that they may actually be able to help you with your printers problem...IT'S EASY TO POST A NEW SEPARATE MESSAGE: Just go to the "fixyourownprinter.com" web-site and under MESSAGE BOARD, click-on PRINTER REPAIR FORUM. The first page will open up; scroll down to bottom of the page; in the bottom left corner is "click here to post a new message". Now you can post your new Subject Header & your printers problem...Good Luck! Denny Conway

Jonathan: Because the "Epson AcuLaser Color 2000 Laser Printer" was specially made for Latin America and usually also for the UK areas, I've never seen one and of course, don't have a reason to even have a Service Manual, here in the USA. I'm sorry, but there's not much information that I can give you concerning your Service Error Condition. I can tell you that the "E" = Engine Related Service Call Error Message and the "009" = a Fuser Motor Malfunction. There is a free download of an "Epson AcuLaser Color 2000 Service Manual", from fixyourownprinter.com, at http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/reference/manuals/public/epson . That manual may be of some help as reference in troubleshooting and servicing your printers service error condition...I would also think that the "M" stands for the magenta toner needing replaced...Good Luck! E022 is transfer belt rotation malfunction. remove the belt and look for a small silver square on the edge and clean it. hopefully this will solve the issue. if not then you will probably need to replace the transfer belt.
