I have a used 2000c. I try to do diagnostics by holding down the power button and pressing the resume button (which is flashing amber) 5, 7 and now 8 times. Each time it prints what appears to be only page 2. This page show an illustration similar to my own printer but the hatch only exposes the ink cartridges, not the printer heads as illustrated. The cover over the printer heads does not open or seem to be intended to be opened.
None of the data I have seen on other peoles test pages print. I have no toolkit that I can find. I downloded the 6 part drivers in addition to the basic but cannot now find them anywhere.
The cyan, magents and yellow dotted lines on my test sample are shaded with grey. The black is printing but it is not shaded. Does this mean the black is out? If so why does it print well in black? Please feel free to e mail me as well as post.
