Here is the answer. This site http://www.inkjetart.com/tips/cleaning/Image01.html showed me how to take apart my Epson 880 even though they were taking apart a 700 series printer, they are basiclly the same. This is a great site with photos for every step of the way. I was able to take apart the printer far enough to get to the head and clean it with Q-tips and rubbing alcohol. Along with new cartridges the printer now works like new. Its easy folks Asimov
