It display the message that the ink tank is full.

and the printer's Waste counter needs to be reset
The waste ink absorbers are located in the printer base.

1: Remove Cartridge
2: Unplug the AC Power Cord
3: Hold down the RESUME button
4: Release RESUME after plugging in the AC Power cord.
5: Press the RESUME once within 5 seconds and release the RESUME .
6: Press and HOLD RESUME for two seconds or more and release it.
7: Press and HOLD RESUME for two seconds or more and release it.
8: Press POWER to set data.

Waste Reset /EEPROM Reset Procedure

My old 1000 was dead and headed for the garbage-your fix has given it a rebirth. I can't thank you enough and I'm glad I checked this site out. Awesome!

| error with my Canon i320 printer?? by Anonymous (4/7/06 9:55 AM) reply | +1 + / - | I got a message of error on using my Canon i320. This is by far the best printer and refilling is a cinch! I loved this printer, but got an error message that flashed briefly saying cartridge is no longer replaceable or refillable. (not quite sure)...then the amber LED was flashing. I tried to unplug, reinstall drivers, etc...but nothing worked, so I hucked it out. Now I happen on this forum that talks about this resetting eeproms, etc. I am very tech savvy...I do all my own fixes. Have never heard of this. I just thought my printer's life was over, so off to recycle / wasteland it went! Perhaps I could have solved the problem, huh?
