This indicates that there is an error. If you pust the "resume" button (the lower button), you will get the error code (Lights usually blinking in a different way). For more info, go to the 710c toolbox, select the "troubleshooting" tab, and then click on the "Printer lights are blinking" box. This will tell you what kind of error you have. (I'm pretty sure this will work, since I have a very similar printer, a dj 722c. Then again, the toolbox may be different, but I'm confident they are almost the same).
