epson 1280 cleaning

hi.. i'm thinking of ordering the fixyourownprinter cleaning kit for epson stylus printers...couple of questions.. can this be used with the epson photo stylus 1280? and..how is it used? is there a special cleaning cartridge needed? thanks for any help on this! tom

No, the 1280 in the only kit it does not work on. I'm Kidding. Yes it works on your printer. Any desktop printer such as yours actually. No cleaning cartridge is needed. They actually are not very useful except for preventing a clog. If you have a clog then the cleaning cartridge will not work until after for clog is cleared. The kit comes with instructions.
