This is the second time this is now happened, the first time I spent hours speaking with customer service via HP and finally got a replacement printer after weeks of delay.
The color cartridge spring clip has unclipped from the plastic housing. Nothing seems to be broken, but there is not enough tension to hold the clip in place once you insert a new cartridge. Upon insertion of cartridge, the clip becomes unsecure and hangs down and results in a error message: (check color cartridge.... something) but the end result is you cannot use the printer/fax/scanner/copier in any capacity due to the error message. This is a virtually new device... maybe been through two or three cartidges, just as before and now not working properly.
Is there a fix for this... can the clip just be superglued in place? I cannot go through the time for a replacement as I need the printer for my job functions. Any advise please.
