Hi,
I have a Canon i860 that has worked like a champ. But recently I checked the levels in my ink cartridges and found that 3 of them were dry, but the printer status only told me that one of them was empty. (All of them were still producing some color, so there was ink in the sponge--but the tank was empty). I replaced the one it told me about (yellow), and it never complained about Cyan or Magenta even though they were both empty.
I apologize if finding this in the forums should have been easy, but I didn't know quite how to search for it. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there any common cause for the empty cartridge detection failing. Is there a fix?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks! Steve
