OK, so I had some printing problems recently. Tried cleaning the printer head and then it refused to print at all. In the end, gave up and got a new print head. Still didn't work. Tried getting new cartridges just in case the carts had dried out even though they were wet on my hands. Tried new carts this morning.
So... new print head, new carts - still nothing. I'm at my wit's end here - could it be soft/firmware? The printer thinks it's printing but its not (it goes through the motion and everything) and it can't be the print head or carts now. I did spot something about the ink heaters but it all still worked before I cleaned the first head, so I must have wrecked that one - but the new one is new, so maybe it's a software thing that I need to do for the new head?
Please help me guys!

next thing is to check the purge unit. it the purge unit is not drawing ink from the inks then it will not print. take it out & check it. might find some debris or dry ink on the cap pads. sometimes washing it with water helps but may have to get a new one.

Removed printhead with cartridges still in it. Applied vacumn to printheads for 3 sec's on both nozzles. This pulled ink through to establish flow. Installed printhead into printer again. Clean cycle once and printed nozzel check. Printed. Photocopied colour and black for sample. Try this.
