|I have a Canon Multipass MP730 printer and the print quality has been getting progressively worse to the point now where the colors aren't right when I print a document. I did a nozzle check and a printhead alignment and columns B,D,G,I,and J on the printed test patterns are BLANK! I removed the printhead and sprayed it with some Windex, and then rised it under the tap, and dried it out and re-tested it. It made no difference, those same rows are missing. |
I'm figuring that the printhead is bad and needs replacing. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Is there anything else I can do/repair before buying a new printhead?
