Push and keep pushed the power button. Plug in the electrical cord. Press and release the Resume button 4 times in a raw. Insert the usb cable. Release power button. Turn printer on.

So, I took it apart and found out that there is a (actually 2) felt pad under the ink waste vacuum pump at right rear. I took them out and washed them in warm soapy water. Put them on my computers' monitor vents and let them dry. What really happens is they shrink down to normal size. What I did is took out the top one, and lenghtened the hoses that are restricted when the felt is full of ink., and directed them to the rear of my printer where I made 2 small holes and led the out and put them in a small plastic bag, which I attatched to my back of printer at the bottom rear. This way, the hoses will not block and the warning will not appear on lcd. and the printer will alway work.
To reset procedure: after you clean the felts and reinstall .
turn on the printer press menu
press scan, copy, scan to enter service mode
use> to get to nvram
set ABS-M level to 0
Set ABS-P level to 0
Press stop to exit..........Done

Buka Dock Printer
Tahan tombol POWER
Pasang KABEL LISTRIK ke Printer Pixma
Sambil menahan TOMBOL POWER, Tutup Dock Printer
Lepas TOMBOL POWER
Nyalakan Printer

1. 1st Methode
a. Manual Reset
- pull out all connection
- open printer cover
- press and hold power button
- connect power cable and usb
- close cover
- release power button
- turn on printer
b.Permanently Reset download : http://www.printersiam.com/data/download/iP1000%20Service%20Tool.zip)
after manual reset :
- open general tool ip 1000 from download
- choose usb port (usb 001)
- klik set destination
if not success follow with 2nd methode

a.Manual Reset

kalo masih blink lanjutkan metode 2

a.Reset Manual
- cabut semua kabel printer
- tekan dan tahan tombol power
- pasang kabel power dan usb
- lepaskan tombol power
- hidupkan seperti biasa
b.kalau ingin Reset Permanen download di:

setelah reset manual lanjutkan dengan :
- buka general tool ip 1500 dari hasil download
- pilih usb port (usb 001)
- klik main
- klik platen
cara ini harusnya berhasil, karena printer saya udah jalan lagi
sebaiknya bersihkan dulu absorbernya/busa/ yang berada di dasar printer, selain itu buatkan saluran eksternal. caranya lobangi bagian tepat dibwh colokan usb pada printer dengan solder, ambil/tarik 2 pipa (tampak ada bekas tinta di dalamnya) perlahan-lahan, beli pipa simpang tiga di toko aquarium,sambungkan pada 2 pipa tsb.

1) Unplug Power & USB cables
2) Open Door & Hold Power button
3) Connect Power Cable (Still holding power button)
4) Close Door, then release Power Button

I cleaned up about 100 "please send me resets" off the thread. There are a lot of them trying to sell the reset software, they disappeared as well. I'm taking an aggressive approach on the Indonesian threads. Just leaving reset procedures, deleting everything else and not allowing any new threads. It's hard to moderate them when you can't understand the language.
Update: Sheesh, they just don't give up. I'm trying to be nice here and leave up just the reset procedures since that's all they care about. They just dumbly keep posting asking for them. Then there's the ones that are trying to sell them when they're offered dozens of times for free. I'm pretty much at the point where all the Indonesian threads disappear. Too much work.

I'll let you know what they tell me.

- Disconnect printer from AC power
STEP 2:
- Press and HOLD the POWER button, and
connect printer to AC power

OR: Disconnect power cable/open front panel(access to ink)/hold down power button/reconnect power cable/close front panel/release powerbutton.
In each case this has to be repeated whenever printer has been off. Does anyone have experience of dismantling printer to clean the ink reservoirs?

Funcionó super....la reparé.
Se apaga, luego, se desconecta el cable eléctrico y el usb. Presiono y teniendo el boton de encendido presionado, conecto el cable eléctrico. Luego, siempre con el boton de encendido presionado, presiono y suelto 4 veces el boton resume. Inserto, aun con el power presionado, el cable de usb. Ahora enciendo y LISTO!
