I do not know if the service manual for the HP PSC 750 is even available. If you want to get one from someone on this site, start a new thread with the subject line of HP PSC 750 Service Manual. Hooking up to the end of a thread for a designjet model will not get you any help.

All of you are not following instrctions. Keep in mind this is a zipped download. You will need winzip in order to extract the zipped file. If you do not know how to do that go to google and put in winzip and you will get all the answers you need. We can only hold your hand so far on this board, the rest you have to do and learn yourself.

| Re: Hp designjet 750c service manual by dmzcompute (4/11/06 2:11 PM) | + / - | May not be a cartridge problem. What exactly is the error reported on the menu on the printer. One thing you can do is turn off the plotter and remove all the cartrdiges. Now use a damp lint free cloth and clean the contacts in the carriage assembly real good. Put the cartridges back in and turn on and see what happens. If you still get errors such as a blinking cartrdige indicator you could have an issue with the carriage assembly or the trailing cable. The carriage assembly is no longer available from hp and the trailing cable is a lot of work to replace.

I took my unit all apart and cleaned it. I put it back together and it works, (I
still get the same scanner error message as others do) but I have a small black
plastic piece left over !!!
The unit has a grinding sound now and I am sure it is because the part is
missing. It is flat and about 2 1/2" by 1" and is a cover apparatus for something in
the unit.
Do you have a access to a service manual? I do not need a user manual as I have
that.
I really need your help as I am disabled and on Social Security disability and
have no extra $ for a new printer.
HP is of no help !!!
