Hello Emma Go to www.hp.com. Support and drivers, type in deskjet 3820 and pick your operating system.After you download the drivers from HP, do not have the printer hooked up to your computer,Just have it sitting there,When you open up the file,It will say something along the lines of,tell me how to set up my printer,Go that route,not the short cut option,and you will be okay.Rob rob123m@yahoo.ca
