It's look like that you need to replace the formatter board.
Good Luck

FirmWare K80 by MEHMET (8/16/04 7:05 AM) reply + / -
This problem occurs most of these kind of machines. When I send these printers to HP they do not change the board. They only make a firmware update.I know this but I don't know where to find the firmware update files.
Changing the board is a solution but not the best.
Does anyone knows where to find firmware files of this machine. It does not have to be up-to-date.
Fabric version can be used.
But I don't know where they are???

If you have a driver installed that does not work, I suggest uninstalling it. Generally the driver installer has an option to uninstall an installed driver, or it may be in a program group that was created. If neither of these options are available, go to the Control Panel and select Add/Remove Programs and uninstall anything that is obviously part of the K80 installation.

Go here for the driver.

I am also having problems with the driver I loaded from the HP site. It won't completely install. I've been on the phone with their help guys for hours. They think it could be a virus and suggested I do a system restore. Does anyone have a less violent suggestion? I've done the uninstall/install several times.
