I'm trying to disassemble my HP Officejet 5110 and I can't seem to see where the tabs are to open it. Can anyone help me.

Before you go to all of that trouble, is the carriage jamed to the right? The 5110 has the same mechanism as the notoriously unreliable Deskjet 3820. There are no replacement parts so the only way to repair the typically broken gear in the service station is to send the gear to the UK.

I've only taken apart one 5110 so my memory is a little fuzzy. Maybe someone else has more experience. Regardless, visit the website to see what you may be in for if you have a carriage jam.

to take it apart you have to unscrew the taper proof screws
