Having the same problems with my Canon BJC-6200 printer as alot of you out there are having LED flashing orange 6 times then Green.
I was reading all the responses relating to all the non answers people were getting from Canon and not realising that whilst I was reading I had left the lid of the printer up, the printer shut off and when I restarted it all was well.
I don not know if the problem will return but at this point in time I have a printer that is working again.
Try it and see you have nothing to lose but time.
