Epson 1520 by Michael Forte (4/20/04 8:40 PM) reply + / -
When I installed an Epson 1520 on a WXP Pro computer- the printer works fine except no matter how many copies you select, the printer will only print 1 copy. Sounds like a driver issue but there is no XP driver on the Epson site. Epson says Windows has the latest driver. However, I cannot print 5 copies unless I print 1, then print 1, then 1, etc. Has anyone ever heard of this or know fix??

Michael: You can always E-mail your question about an available Win's XP Printer Driver and the problem you are having on your Epson Stylus Color 1520 Printer, to the Epson Technical Support Department, by clicking on www.epson.com. They state on their web-site, that they "will respond via e-mail within 1 business day"...Denny Conway

Thanks - I'll try that. Actually I narrowed it down to a particular application. The user didn't tell me that it prints multiple copies fine in Word, Excel, etc - when it will only print 1 copy is in a CAD program called Vector Works. Never thought to ask him but I eventually tried it myself during my troubleshooting. THEN he said - 'Oh, I forgot to tell you' - I was focused on this one app and 'assumed' the problem was global.

Michael: In that case its actually a SOFTWARE problem, rather than an actual printer problem and you might have to seek help from the manufactor of that CAD Program...Good Luck! Denny Conway

I'm sorry but the Epson SC1520 has an actual printable size of 13.6" x 21.75", while 16.5" x 21.75" is the maximum size allowed for paper, as declared in specifications.

These informations should be reported on user's manual, if you don't have it you can check service manual available in the reference section of this site.
