 | Canon BJC-610 by RonZ (1/19/04 2:20 PM) reply | + / - | My Canon BJC-610-C is experiencing several problems. First, it started with some colors not printing. This problem persists, but changes from one color to another (it began with magenta not working and now it's the cyan)
Repeated thorough cleaning has not solved the problems. Now, probably due to the several cleaning attempts, Canon tells me I'm experiencing a "waste ink tank full" error. This causes the printer to stop after printing every page, even if they're all only black (which I've never had a problem printing).
Please help. I'm looking for suggeations on how to empty (if possible) this waste tank; or where to buy and how to replace the waste tank myself. Also, I'm looking for some better cleaning procedures for the non-black colors. Canon's process, at best, works temporarily; and now, on the Cyan, not at all.
Thanks
I'd appreciate

Will some of the ink in the waste tank evaporate or will I need to still empty/replace it? If I will have to empty/replace the waste tank, where can I find instructions and parts (if needed) for doing this?
